OLA to deploy ABB robotics at its mega electric scooters factory in India
Hyderabad, Feb 11 (UNI) : Ola, India’s largest mobility platform and one of the world’s largest ride-hailing companies , on Thursday announced it has selected ABB , one of its key partners for robotics and automation solutions for its mega-factory in India that will roll out the much-anticipated Ola electric scooter.
Ola’s scooter mega-factory, billed to be the world’s largest scooter factory, is expected to be ready and operational in the coming months, the company said in a release.
With an initial annual capacity of 2 million units, Ola’s mega-factory will create 10,000 jobs and serve as the company’s global manufacturing hub for both India and international markets across Europe, UK, Latin America, Australia and New Zealand.

Ride-hailing platform Ola on Thursday said it has selected technology company ABB as its partner for providing robotics and automation solutions for its upcoming electric scooter facility in Tamil Nadu.
In December, Ola had said it will invest Rs 2,400 crore to set up its first electric scooter (e-scooter) facility in the state.
