Kishwaukee College and Phi Theta Kappa (PTK) member Lydia Myers is the recipient of a 2023 Coca-Cola Academic Team Silver Scholar, according to a news release.
CCBC students named to the All-Pennsylvania Academic Team

CENTER TWP. – The Pennsylvania Commission for Community Colleges named Community College of Beaver County students Hayley Pauvlinch, Meghan Rosendale and Daniel Carr to the 27th Annual All-Pennsylvania Academic Team.
The All-Pennsylvania Academic Team is comprised of community college students who have achieved academic excellence and demonstrated a commitment to their colleges and communities.
Pauvlinch and Rosendale were named Community College Transfer Scholars and honored as 2021 Coca-Cola Academic Team Silver Scholars. They will receive scholarships for two years of tuition at any Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education (PASSHE) school.
Local KVCC Student Named Coca-Cola Academic Scholar Adrian is remarkable for his commitment, engagement and drive. This award is not only a clear recognition of Adrian’s past actions, but of his future promise. I’m immensely proud that he has been recognized for this honor.”
This accomplishment will secure Adrian a $1250 scholarship as well as a commemorative medallion.
According to the Coca-Cola Scholars Foundation website, the foundation is a joint effort between the Coca-Cola Company and the Coca-Cola Bottlers that began in 1986 to celebrate Coca-Colas centennial.
Together the foundation supports over 1400 college students each year with $3.4 million in scholarships given out.
