KANCHANABURI: Three Myanmar women, allegedly destined for work in Chon Buri, were caught for illegal entry in Muang district of this central province in the early hours of Saturday.
A team of soldiers, police and local officials spotted four people travelling on a motorcycle at Huai Nam Khao border village in tambon Ban Kao of Muang district at around 12.10am. They signalled them to stop for a search, but the rider sped off with the three pillion riders.

KANCHANABURI: Fourteen Myanmar nationals were arrested for illegal entry in a border village in Muang district on Friday night.
A team of soldiers and police deployed to patrol border areas at Huai Nam Khao village in tambon Ban Klao spotted a suspected pickup truck and stopped it for a search at around 8pm.
The 14 people found in the vehicle were all Myanmar nationals, six of whom were men. No details were given on whether the pickup truck driver was among those caught.

KANCHANABURI: Fifty-nine Myanmar nationals, including two boys, were arrested for illegal entry in Sangkhla Buri district on Saturday, while a compatriot who guided them across the border fled.
A team of soldiers, local police and volunteers hiked into the foothills of Ban Thikhrong mountain in tambon Prangphol on Saturday after a local informant reported seeing a group of people hiding there.

KANCHANABURI: Another 33 Myanmar nationals have been caught entering the country illegally in search of jobs, and a Thai guide has admitted he was being paid 3,000 baht per head to bring workers across the border.
The illegal migrants were arrested in two groups, on Monday night and early on Tuesday.
