Binance has officially started shipping its Visa cards to the European Economic Area. The card is now officially supporting Ethereum.
In an announcement on its website, the Binance exchange revealed that its users in Europe could start ordering its debit card. The card, which is free for Binance users, comes with a daily spending limit of 8,700 euros ($10,600). Its daily ATM withdrawal limit stands at 290 euros ($352). Other perks include an 8% cashback on purchases and zero fees until 2021.
Coinbase released an announcement asking US customers to enroll into the waitlist for its debit visa card. Coinbase card will allow customers to spend their cryptocurrencies at any place that accepts a visa card. The exchange urged users that it would be the fastest means for spending crypto in the world. In the past, the visa card was only available across Europe.
According to the announcement, customers were going to execute transactions without having to transfer their balance into bank accounts. Additionally, the customers would also be able to use the cards across ATMs and during in-store shopping. However, the merchant machines would have to convert the crypto in the card into US dollars before accepting the purchase/withdrawal.

Shortly after midday on Thursday, a few minutes after two government ministers began a press briefing outlining proposals to regulate merchant service fees, ASB issued a press release. ASB decreases merchant services fees to further support Kiwi businesses, the bank trumpeted.
The short three paragraph release said ASB welcomed the Government s move to consult on merchant service fees, and had immediately implemented a substantial rebate for small and medium sized ASB business customers until the outcome of the consultation is known. Topping it off, the rebate would be backdated to the start of December, ASB said.
However, no where in the release did ASB provide any details whatsoever about the rebate. Asked by interest.co.nz for the details an ASB spokeswoman said: The rebate amount a business customer will receive depends on their transaction volumes and is commercially sensitive.”
