On Tuesday, visitors to the Nevada State Museum sat in the front row of history to celebrate the 150th anniversary of the Carson City Mint. Just as it did 150 years ago, the Mint’s Coin Press No. 1 pressed silver coins, complete with the famous “CC” mint mark.
