KANSAS CITY, Mo. â Two men were shot to death Wednesday night in Parkville after a dispute over a firewood transaction.
The shooting happened around 6:30 p.m. along Missouri Highway 9 near Coffey Road in Parkville, according to the Parkville Police Chief Kevin Chrisman.
The incident began at a house in unincorporated Platte County, where the two victims met to discuss a firewood sale.
Chrisman said the men and a juvenile left in their truck hauling a trailer loaded with firewood. The suspect followed them in a car.
