Face masks made by The Friends of Bradford on Avon Station have raised more than £1,000

A BRADFORD on Avon couple have netted more than £1,000 by making face coverings for commuters using their local railway station. When face masks became compulsory on trains and stations across the rail network, Tony Green, chairman of the Friends of Bradford on Avon Railway Station, asked his wife Vivien to make masks from old materials she had at home. So far, she has made more than 900 masks and her efforts have raised £1,000 which has been split between the station and Wiltshire Air Ambulance. On Tuesday December 22, Mr and Mrs Green presented a £500 cheque to Cas Louden, the Wiltshire Air Ambulance community relationship manager.
