On Monday, Jan. 18 – Martin Luther King Jr. Day – the University of Louisiana Monroe and Louisiana Delta Community College continues the tradition of volunteering together on MLK Day of Service.
For more than 10 years, ULM and LDCC have partnered to assist a local community agency on MLK Day of Service.
This year, ULM and LDCC are collecting items for the Food Bank of Northeast Louisiana, which faces staggering demands due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The Food Bank serves thousands in the region with food and basic necessities.
Donations from the community are welcome and accepted until 10 a.m. Monday.

The University of Louisiana Monroe and Louisiana Delta Community College are again partnering to assist a local community agency for MLK Day of Service on Monday, Jan. 18, 2021.
We are all aware of the impact that the pandemic has had on individual s ability to feed themselves and/or their families. The Foodbank has met that need and will continue to do so throughout this holiday season.
