Written by Wyatt Burichka on May 25, 2021 June 1, marks the first day for the Cody Nite Rodeo at the Rodeo Capital of the World. Every night until September, there’s a rodeo in town. After a hard year with COVID-19, the Cody Night Rodeo is opening up to full capacity. Last year, the rodeo season was in question due to the pandemic. But the Rodeo fought hard to have their rodeo season and was successful The general manager of the Cody Stampede Ed Bednarz expects great crowds coming into the 2021 season. “Based on our pre-sales, we are through the roof,” Bednarz said. “It’s looking like our centennial year if not better depending on the rodeo. It is looking like a busy season.”
