Cornwall, ON – A 21-year-old Cornwall man was arrested on March 7
th, 2021 and charged with assault causing bodily harm. It is alleged during an altercation with his brother on March 7
th, the man assaulted him, causing an injury that required medical attention. Police were contacted and took the man into custody. He was charged accordingly and released to appear in court on May 13
th, 2021. His name was not released as it would identify the victim in the matter.

· Possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose x 2
It is alleged during the early morning hours on January 25
th, 2021, the intoxicated man had damaged the walls in his mother’s residence and police were contacted. During the investigation, the man was in possession of pepper spray and administered it in the direction of a police officer and further threatened to assault two police officers with a knife. It is also alleged the man made threats to kill one of the officers. The man was taken into custody, charged accordingly and held for a bail hearing. His name was not released as it would identify the victim in the matter.
