The New York City area should brace for "an abundant amount of travel delays" over the Thanksgiving holiday thanks to expected heavy rains and whipping wind gusts of up to 40 mph, forecasters said Sunday.
The 1-year-old boy and 3-year-old boy were inside the unlocked vehicle parked outside the Green Acres Mall in Valley Stream – with the engine running – around 4:20 p.m. Tuesday when a witness spotted them and called 911, Nassau County Police said.
