Dr. Francis O. Severin, Deputy Principal of The University of the West Indies (The UWI) Open Campus recently received on behalf of the Campus a donation of food and other household items from Sierra St Georges, a student of the Codrington International School located in St. John.
The Codrington International School is an International Baccalaureate curriculum school with students from all over the world. The school offers a curriculum for children aged three through 18 years. Currently, there are students from twenty-eight nationalities.
The Codrington International School Middle Years Programme, level 3 (MYP3) curriculum requires students to complete a “Community Project” to benefit communities either locally or regionally. St Georges chose to make an “emergency response kit” to send items needed in emergency situations to The UWI.
