five deaths, that s serious. what can parents do to protect they re babies? it s very simple. parents need to get themselves immunized against whooping cough. adults are supposed to get a vaccine against whooping cough every ten years, and i think most people don t know that. many doctors fail to tell their patients, hey, especially if you re a parent, you should get vaccinated against whooping cough. the reason is copying called cocooning. if everybody else is vaccinated, that will give the baby some protection. so, the cough in whooping cough has that telltale sound, rather. are there any other signs parents can look for? take a look at this, especially if you live in a place where whooching cough is in the community. it starts with a runny nose and coughing but it progresses to
