Route 322 reopens in Hershey after sinkhole repairs: police Updated Feb 24, 2021; A section of Route 322 that was forced to close Tuesday because of a large sinkhole has reopened, police said early Wednesday. The sinkhole appeared Tuesday morning on Route 322 west between Cocoa Avenue (Route 743) and Hockersville Road, Derry Township police said. Route 322 west was closed while the sinkhole was filled and road repaired. Westbound traffic was directed to use Cocoa and Elm avenues as detours. The eastbound side remained open. As of Wednesday morning, both sides of 322 are fully open.
