mechanical problem. most people are comfortable that the boeing 777 is one of the safest airliners that we have and the safety record is very good. but it does behoove us to remember that in 2008 there was a very similar crash in london that the aircraft, 777 approached the run way and ended up landing 1,000 feet short of the run way causing major damage. that was caused because of the mechanical failure that caused both engines to quit. we have a press conference scheduled coming up. i m curious to get your take on what kind of questions if you were investigating this incident what questions would you have at this point? well, most of the questions would revolve around what they discovered if anything from looking at the wreckage and from any interviews that they have had with the cockpit crew.
