My Mock Draft 2.0
Here is my second mock draft that I am posting. The first one I did was the PFF mock draft simulator, however, I saw a lot of people recommending the PFN mock draft simulator. So, that is the mock draft simulator that I ended up using. Warning I am by no means an expert at mock drafts. My picks will probably have limited explanation, but I just pick people that I think can fix some of the Colt s holes in their roster, and also some people that I have watched some tape on. So without further delay, lets get into it.
The 2021 NFL Draft will provide plenty of quality linebacker options on day three for the Cowboys
If you’re the Cowboys, don’t draft a linebacker early.

When taking a look at the needs for the Dallas Cowboys in 2021, cornerback, defensive tackle, safety, and linebacker are four of the biggest needs on the team. As you can tell, the Cowboys need a lot of help on defense. It should burn that linebacker is such a big need just two years after giving Jaylon Smith a nice payday, and spending a premium first-round pick on Leighton Vander Esch in 2018.

LSU Safety JaCoby Stevens Says Colts Were Among the Teams He Had a Great Connection With at Senior Bowl

The 6’2”, now 216 pound senior hybrid safety recorded 63 tackles (30 solo), 3.0 sacks, 4 passes defensed, 3 fumble recoveries, and a forced fumble during 10 starts in 2020. He was formerly 2nd-Team All-SEC for the National Champion Tigers in 2019.

The 2021 NFL offseason is well underway now and the first big date in the calendar, in roster turnover terms, iwas the Reese’
Indianapolis Colts descended into Mobile, Alabama to watch some of the top draft prospects be put through there paces by NFL coaching staffs from the Miami Dolphins and Carolina Panthers before duelling it out in the Senior Bowl game.
The Colts coaches and scouts were front and centre during the practices and the game getting a up close look at the talent on show. The senior bowl is a great opportunity for the Colts to interview and see how the draft prospects take on NFL coaching, Chris Ballard is a big fan of the Senior Bowl as he has drafted 11 players in his 4 years in Indianapolis who have taken part in the Senior Bowl.

As we see the rise of athletic quarterbacks such as Deshaun Watson and Josh Allen, prospects who have intriguing physical tools will come into focus during the draft evaluation process. You can add Jamie Newman to that incoming group.
When you turn on Jamie Newman s film, two aspects of his game will jump off the screen immediately. He throws a beautiful deep ball with good accuracy. According to Sports Info Solutions (starts at 2:30), the big-armed quarterback had a 67 percent on-target rate for pass attempts that went 20 or more yards downfield in 2019.
You ll also notice Newman can pound a QB draw up the middle, operate the run-pass option (RPO) or tuck and run with the ball when defenders close on his receivers downfield.
