STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. A 27-year-old man fired a gun on a crowded street outside his apartment in Clifton, then cops found a firearm hidden under his mattress during a raid a short time later, authorities allege.
Ricky Anderson discharged a gun on April 13 around 4:30 p.m., steps from his apartment on the 300 block of Vanderbilt Avenue near Osgood Avenue, according to police and the criminal complaint.
“I was beefing with somebody and I shot one round,” the complaint quotes Anderson as allegedly saying to police.
