NEW MARTINSVILLE An employee is suing Coastal Drilling East after he was injured on the job when he fell 25 feet.
Branden Anthony Davis filed the lawsuit against Coastal Drilling East, The Crosby Group and John Doe Company alleging that they violated federal safety regulations laid out by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), according to a complaint filed in Wetzel Circuit Court.
Davis claims he was employed by Coastal at a job site in Wetzel County and on March 5, 2019, he was performing his assigned tasks when the pin and/or bolt of the Crosby Terminator he was using failed and he plummeted 25 feet to the ground.
