Encouraging the rollout of electric car charging points in South Gloucestershire is just one part in ensuring we continue to lead the way in tackling Climate Change. I am therefore delighted that we have already seen success in our campaign for more electric car charging points in South Gloucestershire, meaning that local people will have better access to car charging points near their homes. These charging points vital , as electric vehicles emit a fraction of the emissions compared with petrol- and diesel-powered ones, but many motorists, very fairly, feel there are simply not enough charging points in our area at the moment to make the switch.
