Man, 27, taken to hospital with head injury after serious incident in Darlington

Officers were called to an incident at a flat in Victoria Road, Darlington, on Sunday, December 27, at around 6.30pm, following concerns for a man. A 27-year-old man was found with a head injury and taken to hospital. Police said his injuries are not thought to be life-threatening. A large police presence was reported near the flats in the former Coachman Hotel in the town s Victoria Road. A spokesperson for the North East Ambulance Service said: We received a call of a male being injured at a private address in Victoria Road, Darlington, just after 6.30pm on Sunday night.
