Avante Dickerson, 2021 4 Cornerback, Commits to Ducks

Coach Mario Cristobal has added another excellent recruit to his 2021 class in four-star cornerback Avante Dickerson who committed to the Ducks on National Signing Day.
Dickerson was one of four top 50 ESPN recruits left on the board in February and joins an Oregon class that was ranked No. 6 before his commitment.
The 6-foot, 170-pound prospect was committed to the Minnesota Gophers as recently as Jan 24 where he was the program’s highest-ranked commit in program history but after his decision to reopen his recruitment it came down to the Gophers, Scott Frost’s Nebraska, and the Ducks.
Oregon schools, local athletes reflect on 2020 early signing day
The Ducks and Beavers both signed nearly all their class of 2021 recruits, while some local Oregon products sent in their letters of intent to play at the next level.

Eugene, Ore. The 2021 Early Signing Day in college football came and went. And for the University of Oregon and Oregon State programs it was drama-free. In past years, early signing days for both programs have been punctuated by at least one flip in which a committed athlete turns around and signs to another school on signing day. In 2021 both schools signed every one of their commits, save for one for the Ducks. Linebacker Jonathan Flowe will likely sign later in the year, as he committed just earlier this week.
