Can Oregon put a cherry on top of its historic 2021 class? It was really beautiful there, he said of Eugene. The weather was awesome. The campus has so many resources that they give you. You really can’t fail there.”
Current Ducks offensive linemen
Ryan Walk and
Marcus Harper II spent time talking with Kutas and his family about what it s like to play for Oregon and how they spend their time outside of football. One Ducks player barbecued for Kutas, along with
Eston Harris Jr. and
Dave Iuli who were also visiting Eugene.
Kutas spent the most time with Coach Cristobal and Coach Mirabal while on his visit and said he is closest with them among the coaching staff. Despite being listed as a defensive lineman by most recruiting services, he is being recruited by the Ducks coaches as an offensive tackle.

Oregon is ready to capitalize on an impressive group of visitors expected in Eugene this weekend. One of those is a big name, both literally and in terms of his talent in 6-foot-5, 327-pound defensive lineman
Sir Mells from Liberty High School in Henderson, Nevada.
The former Washington commit will arrive in Eugene Thursday night, and spoke with Ducks Digest about the upcoming trip.
The visit will be the second of the week for Mells, who returned to the recruiting trail with a visit to UNLV just up the road. It was fun, he said of his trip to check out the Rebels. It was definitely a jaw-dropping experience being able to see how far UNLV came with facilities, coaches and players. It s crazy.

Oregon has started to build a reputation for its ability to produce top tier offensive linemen during the Mario Cristobal era. In the 2021 class, offensive line coach Alex Mirabal hauled in one of the most talented groups in the country, including 2 of the top 10 offensive tackles nationally, in
Kingsley Suamataia and
Jackson Powers-Johnson and 4-star OG
Jonah Miller.
Now the staff is hoping to amass even more talent in the trenches for 2022. High on Oregon’s board is the nation s No. 40 prospect, OT
Tyler Booker (0.9824 per 247Sports composite). Ducks Digest caught up with him for the latest in his recruitment.
