MACARTHUR FC have confirmed goalkeeper Filip Kurto will join the club for the upcoming 21/22 Isuzu UTE A-League season.
The 6-foot-3 shot-stopper links with Macarthur FC following previous stints at Western United and Wellington Phoenix.
Featuring in over 60 A-League matches, Kurto is highly regarded in Australian football having received the 2018/19 Goalkeeper of the Year at the Dolan Warren Awards after a breakaway debut season with the Phoenix.
Macarthur FC Captain Adam Federici has announced his retirement from football due to injury before the commencement of the 2021/22 Isuzu UTE A-League season.
The 6-foot-2 shot-stopper is hanging up the boots after a successful career, appearing in over 280 matches across the English Premier and Championship Leagues and having featured in the 28 matches of the Bulls’ inaugural season.
In just his first appearance in the A-League, Federici made the equal most saves and was also featured as part of the Best XI in FIFA 21.

Macarthur FC is delighted to announce defender James Meredith has joined the Bulls for the clubs inaugural campaign in the 2020/21 A-League competition.
The 32-year-old spent the past 15 years plying his trade in England, after being scouted to Derby County as a 16-year-old.
The 6-foot-1 left-back had amassed 223 career matches with League One outfit Bradford City, before stints with Championship side Millwall FC and York City, returning to Australian shores at the end of 2019 signing with Perth Glory.
Meredith has also represented the national team on two occasions under Ange Postecoglou against Kyrgyzstan and Bangladesh during Australia’s 2015 World Cup Qualification campaign.

Macarthur FC is pleased to welcome experienced centre-back Antony Golec for the Bulls inaugural A-League season.
The 30-year-old returns home following stints in Asia in Indonesia and the Malaysian Super League, most recently with Perak TBG.
An A-League Champion, Moldavian Champion and AFC Championship winner, the 6-foot-2 centre-back is delighted to return home to play in front of family and friends.
