A pat on the back for Thunder Bay city council from the Integrity Commissioners office.
In her report to council Monday night, Co-Principle Janice Atwood-Petkovski revealed in other cities, councillors have crossed the line and interfered with city staff, but not so in Thunder Bay.
“You are operating properly, you have a good code of conduct. You have a relationship, when there is a question, members can reach out to the Integrity Commissioner and get advice, and stay within the lines,” pointed out Atwood-Petkovski.
The commissioner added other cities have dealt with conflict of interest or too much interaction on social media.
