response is coming from the saudi government? yeah. the saudi foreign minister was holding a press conference in saudi today. was asked precisely this question. what s your reaction to these this new fbi release. he said look, this is something that saudi arabia has been asking for for over a decade. it s something that we want to come out. he said we want it, because we believe that there is no connection. he says there is no connection between the saudi government and the hijackers. they ve been wanting this to come out. from his point from the saudi point of view, he said we agree that we need to work together on counterterrorism issues going forward. that saudi arabia needs to partner with western intelligence agencies to help everyone, to help the saudis and western intelligence agencies including the united states. so they from the saudi side, even before the report was released, the embassy in washington said we want it to come out. we re happy for it to come out.
