The Clyde S. VanEnkevort, an integrated tug and barge, spilled an estimated 373 gallons of red dye diesel into the lake near the Northshore Mining Co. pellet plant in Silver Bay on May 29.
The Minnesota Pollution Control Agency said diesel fuel overflowed from the Clyde S. VanEnkevort integrated tug and barge Wednesday as it transferred fuel between its components.
