Davenport, IA- Five Burlington men have been sentenced to over a decade in prison for conspiring to distribute drugs in the Burlington area. The conspiracy started by at least December 1, 2019, and continued until November 2, 2021. Davenport, IA- Eight Burlington men were charged in federal court for their roles in a multi-year joint federal and state investigation of a large drug trafficking organization that operated out of Burlington. The charges stem from an investigation conducted by multiple law enforcement agencies in Southeast Iowa. The investigation culminated in the execution of federal search warrants at multiple locations in Burlington on Tuesday, November 2, 2021. Law enforcement officers seized four guns, over $13,000 cash, marijuana, cocaine, methamphetamine, and drug paraphernalia at multiple locations in Burlington.
