Theres the bay fair station and the fruitvale station, last two bart stations that have service. Even though its just the coliseum and san leandro stations closed, no stations can travel to fruitvale either. They are trying to get a bus bridge in place between fruitvale and bay fair. Thats a pretty good stretch. If you want to drive between the areas, 880 and 580 are cleared. Take to the roads, because right now we dont have the bus set up yet. Reporter it happened at the end of a freeway onramp on tuesday night. The incident was captured on cell phone video by a passing motorist. The chp says the unknown woman was seen barefoot, walking along the freeway shoulder at times stepping out into the heavy traffic. According to the chp the woman ignored the officers command to get out of the traffic lane then became physically combative. The report says the officer was concerned about the womans safety as well as his own and when he tried to place her under arrest a physical altercation ensued. The woman didnt complain of any injuries. And the officers didnt see any evidence of them. She was transported to l. A. County medical for evaluation.
