Written by SPACE on Ryder Farm We are thrilled to open our  Third Annual Plant Sale today! Our plant starts are 100% organic and planted right here on Ryder Farm. Many plant varieties sell out quickly, so don t wait! We re excited to offer vegetable, herb and flower plant starts to help your home garden thrive or kick-start the garden you’ve always dreamed about! We have several varieties, many of which you won’t find in your standard big-box garden section. We re taking extra precautions during the Plant Sale to best protect you and the SPACE team. To that end, we’ll be using a contactless online ordering and pickup system. Pickups are available from May 22nd - 30th at Ryder Farm. At checkout, you can choose your preferred date and time for curbside pickup. If you do not wish to order online, give us a call at (646) 833-8159 between 10am and 5pm on weekdays and we will be happy to process your order over the phone.

Stroger Hospital of Cook County. The spring Maroon & Gold Gala is the school s largest fundraiser with all proceeds benefiting academic, religious and community service endeavors. The evening begins at 6:45 p.m. with pre-Gala presentations and continues until 8:40 p.m., concluding with their much anticipated $20,000 Champions Club Raffle drawing. The virtual guests also will be able to participate in an online auction throughout the evening.

Former grand marshal and Doc Hennigan’s owner Dr. Craig Campbell said, “The COVID-19 situation prevents us from continuing as we have in the past. And the city is not giving out parade permits.” At the moment, state limits on events of any kinds are still 50 people. A spokesman for the mayor’s office confirmed no permits were being issued at this time.
