During the annual Optimist Club of South Lake Tahoe s annual Day in Paradise, local businessman Ben Fagen won the duck race. The event, held along the Truckee River in Tahoe Paradise Park, raises money to help the Optimists with their local youth projects. They will also be opening their Christmas Tree lot in South Lake Tahoe after Thanksgiving.
