The Rotary Club of Peninsula Sunset collected $800 cash and 35 bags of relief items during their disaster relief initiative collection at the ROC Market in Suva, and donations continue to pour in.
Community Service Director Prashant Anuraag says the support from the people of Fiji towards the initiative has been tremendous and they are thankful that people have shown their support to those who have been affected by Tropical Cyclone Yasa.

Rotary Club of Peninsula Sunset starts disaster relief drive

An urgent call for assistance is being made to help those who have been severely affected by Monster Tropical Cyclone Yasa.
The Rotary Club of Peninsula Sunset has started a disaster relief initiative to help the victims of Cyclone Yasa in the Northern Division.
Community Service Director Prashant Anuraag says the initiative started after seeing the video footage of the destruction that was done by Yasa in the North.
93,000 Fijians were in the direct path of the cyclone.
Anuraag says when he saw the video clip he decided to start an initiative to assist the families who have been badly affected by the cyclone.
