3-ply Masks for Business initiative kicked off by Rotary Club of Parry Sound

The Rotary Club of Parry Sound is rolling out a new 3-ply mask initiative for all businesses.
With financial help from the Rotary district, a supply of quality disposable masks will be available free of charge to all businesses in the district.
The Rotary Club’s aim is to better equip businesses to be able to provide customers entering their location maskless or should they prefer that all customers wear the 3ply mask for added protection.

Linda West awarded 20th Order of Parry Sound

The 2020 Order of Parry Sound was awarded last night to Linda West, President of the Rotary Club of Parry Sound.
In Tuesday’s Council meeting, Mayor Jamie McGarvey named Ms.West as the 20th recipient of the order.
He also noted that this year saw the most amount of nominations to date for the order.
According to McGarvey, efforts setting up the Rotary Club to respond to the COVID-19 pandemic last year earned West her nomination and is why she is receiving the 2020 order of Parry Sound.
