This Maine Library is Offering Learning Kits for Kids
One of the largest affected demographics of the coronavirus pandemic has been our young kids. From having a normal routine one day to not returning to school for months the next. We ve also seen many Maine school children begin to fall behind grade-wise because they re not performing as well with remote learning. Well, one Maine library is seeking to help.
With the assistance of Zoobean, The Anonimo Foundation, and the Rotary Club of Damariscotta, the Skidompha Library will be offering learning and literacy kits to children of different ages.
They will offer early lit kits for kids pre-K to grade 3. These kits will contain an audio CD, some workbooks, pencils, learn-to-read books and five early reader books. There will also be a kit for music literacy for pre-K to grade 3 as well.
