Celebrations for the Queen s Platinum Jubilee weekend will kick off with Trooping the Colour watched by the Royal Family from the Buckingham Palace balcony.
A dramatic statement at 3pm said the couple - as well as the Duke of York - would not be invited onto the balcony for Trooping the Colour, the spectacular start of her long weekend of commemorations.
Licensing hours will be extended 11pm and 1am from Thursday 2 and Saturday 4 June in England and Wales and includes nightclubs to mark 70 years since the Queen s coronation.
The Sussexes have been invited to appear at family events including the traditional balcony appearance and a service of thanksgiving at St Paul s to celebrate the monarch s 70 years on the throne.
