Orange County SC sign German goalkeeper Patrick Rakovsky

Orange County SC announced this week they have signed goalkeeper Patrick Rakovsky for the 2021 season.
Rakovsky, 27, comes with considerable experience. Beginning his career in his native Germany, Rakovsky got his debut as an 18-year-old in the Bundesliga for FC Nürnberg in 2011. He stayed at Nürnberg until 2017, splitting time as a starter, backup and reserve goalkeeper in the club’s system. He then joined Belgian side Club Lierse for a season, and spent the last two seasons playing in Finland for FC Lahti, the same club that another new Orange County SC signing, Mikko Kuningas, played for ahead of his move stateside.
