IBM to acquire top cloud services provider
NEW YORK, January 18, 2021 IBM said it will acquire Taos, a leading cloud professional and managed services provider, in a move which further advances IBM s cloud migration and transformation capabilities, a key aspect of its hybrid cloud platform growth strategy. IBM said Taos will continue to operate in San Jose as an IBM company. It is one of the largest firms focuing on multi-cloud services and consulting. The firm recently was recognized by research firm Gartner as an “industry leader.”
