hello, it is yet another day of sunny skies for most and temperatures into the 30s. we still have amber extreme heat warnings from the met office covering northern ireland, parts of southern wales, the midlands and into the south west of england. we are seeing some of the highest temperatures today across these western areas, values into the low 30s celsius. further east, it is quite a lot cooler for some of these north sea coasts, where we are keeping more in the way of cloud. and although most places are dry with sunshine, we have got one or two scattered thunderstorms which will rumble on into the evening. overnight, we will bring more of this low cloud in across northern and eastern scotland, the eastern coasts of england. these are the overnight lows. by the end of the night, 17, 18 degrees. so not a particularly fresh night, tricky for sleeping. and then, as we head into friday, still rather cloudy for some of these eastern coastal areas. lots of sunshine elsewhere, just the odd
