FIFE COUNCIL have revealed how they plan to keep on top of school-related COVID cases over Christmas . get pupils to keep records on a piece of paper or their mobile phones! From tomorrow (Thursday), all West Fife high school pupils are required to maintain a record of their close contacts. At the end of EVERY lesson they will be asked to record: Pupil names (first names only) of those sitting around them within a two-metre radius. Name of teacher if within a two-metre radius. A close contact is any person (including their teacher) that the pupil has been within two metres of (including walking to and from school, during class, interval or lunch) or on school transport (including bus company, Stagecoach and pick-up/drop-off point).
