Adekunke (Ade) Osibogun is a lawyer who is studying for a PhD in Constitutional Law at the university, where he obtained his law degree. The former Student Union president, who lives with his family in Buckingham, was elected for the Buckingham East ward, along with councillors Warren Whyte and Howard Mordue. Ade Osibogun, right, with university vice-chancellor James Tooley Ade, whose daughters go to school in Buckingham, is an active member of various town groups, including Buckingham Rotary Club and Buckingham Twinning Association.

Bucks Council agrees in principle changes to Princes Risborough expansion

It “expands on” the Wycombe District Local Plan adopted in August 2019. It sets out when, where and how homes, schools and infrastructure should be built, phased and funded, while proving “a framework to guide the preparation and assessment of future planning applications within the area”. The expansion is the “largest single housing allocation” in South Bucks, comprising around 2,500 new homes and associated infrastructure, including two primary schools, sports pitches, and a new relief road serving as a complete alternative to the A4010, with two rail under-bridges. Bucks Council has secured a £12 million Housing Infrastructure Fund (HIF) grant towards the first phase of the relief road, known as the Southern Relief Road (SRL).

The news was revealed during a Budget Scrutiny Select Committee Inquiry, on Tuesday, January 12. According to cabinet member for planning and enforcement Cllr Warren Whyte the site was originally a Pavilion Cinema and then a Granada in 1946 before it closed in 1972.
