Radcliffe Town Hall RESIDENTS are being invited to take part in an online webinar outlining the progress of Radcliffe s regeneration. Radcliffe’s Strategic Regeneration Framework (SRF) is the masterplan to support regeneration, investment and growth over the next 15 years. Every household in the town is now receiving a leaflet outlining the progress made so far and how they can take part in ensuring the vision becomes a reality. Residents will be able to hear about the latest proposals for the ongoing regeneration, ask questions and find out how to get involved. Cllr Eamonn O’Brien, leader of Bury Council, said: “The council is looking to allocate £36m for the delivery of this plan over the next three years - the biggest investment in Radcliffe in a generation. This is just the beginning, as we aim to attract significant external funding on top of this.

Cllr Tamoor Tariq, Bury Council cabinet member for children and families COUNCIL leaders have hailed Radcliffe s new school as a key part of the town’s regeneration. The council had fully backed the plans put forward by Star Academies, who submitted a bid to the Government in 2019 for funding to bring a high school back to the town. The Government has now approved the bid new school on the site of the former Radcliffe Riverside School on Spring Lane. Cllr Tamoor Tariq, cabinet member for children and families, said: “This is what we’ve all been waiting so long to hear, and it’s nothing less than local residents deserve.
