After its makeover. (Source Facebook - Newyddion Gwersyllt News) A SHABBY looking alleyway in Gwersyllt has received a much needed makeover. However, Cllr Phil Rees, of Gwersyllt North Ward, took to social media earlier last week, to inform residents of its transformation after the clean up. Top and Bottom Road junction, Summerhill. (Source Cllr Phil Rees) RESURFACING work is set to take place in Summerhill this week. Cllr Phil Rees, of Gwersyllt North Ward, took to social media yesterday (February 1) to confirm that Wrexham Council will be resurfacing the junction between Top and Bottom Road on Wednesday, 3 February, which will result in it being closed during working hours for around a week and a half. He posted: There s also a second phase on Top Road, starting March 1. Bottom Road is also in a very poor condition of course - and probably worse. I had suggested that it be done instead of Top Road, but as Top Road had already been included on the published work programme, that wasn’t possible.
