Non-essential retail and barbers were among those open for business, following an easing of lockdown restrictions. On Monday, mayor Ann Pearce, deputy mayor Cllr Peter Colman and Tetbury Town crier Tony Evans officially opened the town and welcomed back businesses, and of course residents and visitors to the town. They were very impressed at the hard work that businesses had put in to reopen while complying with guidelines. The uniqueness of the businesses in Tetbury when you walk through the doors of some of the shops who always had the wow factor of amazing has been enhanced. But it’s the friendliness and warmth of the business that is really welcoming and enjoyable as we can all once again enjoy the social aspect of shopping.
