Drugs are number one gripe for people in Connah s Quay

COUNCILLORS joined police officers on the beat in Connah s Quay as part of the Grab a Gripe initiative. Cllr Paul Shotton and Cllr Ian Dunbar joined Community Beat Manager Amy Parry, of the Neighbourhood Policing Team in Flintshire North, on a walkabout to find out what residents considered to be the biggest issues impacting their quality of life. Cllr Shotton said that drugs seemed to be the number one issue for people in Connah s Quay. PC Parry said that other common issues were litter and cycling on pavements. The data is being collated so that police, councillors and other agencies can focus on the problems.
