Two arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving over Westbury fatal crash

1/1 POLICE have arrested two people as part of their investigation into the fatal crash in Westbury in which 18-year-old Bethany Ovenden-Gumm died. A 19-year-old woman and a 19-year-old man, both local, have been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving. Both have since been released under investigation. A Wiltshire Police spokesman said: “These arrests relate to two other vehicles, a Vauxhall Astra and a Vauxhall Corsa, which we believe were involved in the incident and so form part of our ongoing investigation.” The people arrested so far are understood to be the drivers of two other vehicles which were travelling around Westbury on the night of February 5, before the crash on The Mead in which Bethany was killed.
