The council has published a Draft Programme of Works for 2021, outlining council spend over the next 12 months in the Howth/Malahide electoral area.
The programme is broken down over six key areas: Restoration Improvement Grant €305,000; Restoration Maintenance €400,000; Special Works Programme €445,000; Traffic Management Schemes €250,000; Parks and Open Spaces €134,000; and Public Lighting €33,000.
Restoration improvement on roads sees a spend of €305,000; maintenance on roads €400,000; and special works/drainage €445,000.
The yearly budget for local is: Malahide €22,000 Portmarnock €12,500; and Kinsealy €13,000.
Fianna Fáil councillor Eoghan O Brien said he wished to acknowledge the work of the council s Operations Department in putting together the 2021 Draft Programme of Works.
