A CAMPAIGN to encourage young people to keep up their coronavirus testing over the summer school holiday has been acrobatically launched by 13-year-old Darcey Merrick. She is the first teenager to record a video for a new Blackburn with Darwen Council social media campaign. It has launched a summer competition across TikTok, Twitter, Facebook and Instagram to encourage young people aged 11 and upwards to continue their twice-weekly lateral flow tests. Prizes will be given each week to the most creative test-takers and each weekly winner will go into a draw for the chance to win £1,000 to spend at the Apple store. Entries should tag Blackburn with Darwen Council in their post with the hashtag #BestTest.
