Both facilities are set to move to a super campus at Halbeath by the summer of 2024. Fife Council has not yet revealed what the plans are for what is left however the Press asked local councillors what they think should happen when the sites are vacated. Councillor James Calder has pledged to push for services to remain in the area. “When it comes to the Abbeyview community, over the past few years they have lost a huge amount of local facilities. It is unfair that they should face losing more facilities, he said. “At Council meetings I have consistently pushed for the Abbeyview community to be listened to and supported. I would prefer to see as much of the facilities locally as possible retained at the site.
