Green Party Councillor Lourda Scott suspended standing orders at the February meeting of Greystones Municipal District to propose that they write to the Minister of Education Norma Foley requesting clarification on the exact number of children without a secondary school place in September 2024 and what the proposed solution is to accommodate them.
Fine Gael has selected Louise Fenelon Gaskin and Aileen Lennon to run as candidates for the upcoming local elections in the Greystones Electoral Area, following a selection convention at the Horse & Hound Hotel, in Delgany, on Thursday, February 22. Their nominations to run comes as Councillor Derek Mitchell has made the decision not to seek re-election.
There are no two words better able to reduce people in Bray and Greystones to laughter and tears simultaneously than ‘cliff’ and ‘walk’. It’s like being tickled whilst chopping an onion.
