An unveiling of a £300,000 statue of Margaret Thatcher is now at risk after a council reconsidered its proposal to spend £100,000 on its launch.
South Kesteven District Council in Lincolnshire had planned to underwrite the funds for the ceremony, obtained through private donations, but is said to be now reviewing its decision.
