Police: Man dies after car crash in North Haven

NORTH HAVEN One man is dead and two others are injured after a fatal car accident early Friday, according to police.
Police responded to an accident on Clintonville Road (Route 22) at about 1:40 a.m. Officers found three injured people after two cars collided, according to a news release.
Two individuals in one of the vehicles sustained non-life-threatening injuries and were transported to Yale-New Haven Hospital’s St. Raphael’s Campus. The other person a-54 year-old male suffered severe injuries and was sent to Yale-New Haven and pronounced dead several hours later, according to officials.

Two of three winning Treasure Hunt tickets from the Sunday drawing with a jackpot prize of $122,001 were sold in northwestern Pennsylvania.
Two jackpot winning tickets were sold in Erie and Venango counties and will split the jackpot three ways, according to the Pennsylvania Lottery.
Each jackpot-winning ticket matched all five numbers drawn, 03-16-17-20-24, to win individual prizes of $40,667, less applicable withholding.
The winning tickets were sold by Country Fair, 5008 Peach St., Erie;Â Emlenton Truck Plaza, 6406 Emlenton-Clintonville Road, Emlenton;Â and the Giant Eagle, Parkway Center Mall, 1165 McKinney Lane, Pittsburgh.
More than 36,500 other Treasure Hunt tickets won prizes in the drawing.
